Why You Should Get That Tattoo

Last updated: May 4, 2021

Tattoo

The Internal Conflict

As a young person at the age of 20, I had this strong urge to get tattooed. I already knew the position I wanted it at, the size and what it would say. But I neither had the funds or the confidence to go for it because

It’s permanent, what if I wake up tomorrow and I don’t want it anymore?

But I have scars on my body, my face especially that will never go off no matter how much I do not want them. I’ve come to accept it as mine regardless of how ugly it looks or how uncomfortable it gets me.

In that note, a Tattoo is a work of art that you chose and consented to, so don’t worry about hating it tomorrow. You’ll definitely get used to it like you did your scars, plus you can always cover up an old tattoo with another new tattoo.

How would it look on my body 30 years from now?

A lot of things would change 30 years from now, your skin might wrinkle, you might die even but your tattoo stays the same. You should be more concerned about keeping your skin and body healthy.
