Lily's Lab

Day 3 of 20

20-days-challengedigital-workshop

On a random day, I asked myself…

Why not build tools instead of just creating landing pages?

That thought led me to start building tools—not just tools I enjoyed, but ones that could make my work easier. I wanted tools that were always available, free of ads, simple, and minimalist—tools that would help me focus on my tasks without distractions.

One of the tools I built is the 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗧𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗘𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿: https://lnkd.in/dmjN8DHb.

Let me explain why I built it. On my website lilyslab.xyz, I have a notes page, a writings page, and several other sections. Most of my content starts in 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻, written on my Obsidian board. Occasionally, I update these pages directly through my IDE—it’s quick and easy.

This tool eliminates the hassle of manually converting text to Markdown and vice versa. It even goes a step further by converting 𝗛𝗧𝗠𝗟 𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 or 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁.

If you use AI agents and often copy their responses, you’ve likely faced formatting issues. This tool is perfect for converting those responses into clean, plain text.

Give it a try today!

Are there any tools that'd make work easy for you or automate some for your work that you'd like to see being built? Share in the comments via my LinkedIn, you might inspire my next project.
