What is Lilyslab?

Lilyslab is my personal space for growth, learning, and sharing. It's a mix of three main areas:

  • Digital Garden: Where I grow and share my ideas, writings, notes, and bookmarks. It's not a formal blog, but a living collection of thoughts that grow over time.

  • Workshop: Where I show my projects (like logs and shop items), track my progress, and share my building process.

  • Playground: Where I build and test small web tools and apps like calculators and note widgets.

Why I Built It

I needed a home for my thoughts and projects - a place where I could:

  • Link related ideas together (like my articles on digital gardens, rabbit holes, and tab management)
  • Show my work in an easy-to-browse way
  • Test new coding ideas
  • Share what I learn with others

How It Works

The site is built with Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and MDX files for content. I've designed it to be simple to use, fast to load, and easy to update. Everything is stored as plain text files, which makes adding new content quick and easy.
